Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace fonds

Minute book that documents the proceedings of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the Lunenburg District, renamed as Eastern in 1792. The Lunenburg / Eastern District included the counties of Dundas, Glengarry, Grenville, Leeds, Ontario, Prescott, Russell, and Stormont.

Minute books documenting the proceedings of the Court of General Quarter Sessions of the Peace for the Mecklenburg District, renamed as Midland in 1792. The Mecklenburg/Midland District comprised the counties of Frontenac, Addington, Lennox, Hastings, and Prince Edward. The majority of the court sittings were held at Kingston and Adolphus Town. One of the volumes also contains marriage oaths from between 1794 and 1827.
