Scrapbook containing sixteen engravings of prominent British jurists. The engravings derive from a variety of artists and periods, but were likely created between 1605 and 1836. The scrapbook pages are annotated in pencil, detailing the date of the engraving and often the birth and death dates or name of the subject. Subjects represented in the scrapbook include the following: Henry, Lord Brougham (1778-1868); Charles, 2nd Earl Grey (1764-1845); Sir Nicholas Bacon (1510-1579); Daines Barrington (1727-1800); John Andreas; Sir Edmund Anderson (1530-1605); Robert Banks Jenkinson, 2nd Earl of Liverpool (1770-1828); King John (1167-1216); Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden (1714-1794); Sir Frances Buller (1746-1800); John Bradshaw (1602-1659).

Scrapbook containing illustrations and brief biographies of prominent Canadian jurists. The subjects represented in the scrapbook served in British North America and Canada from the mid-1700s to the mid to late-1800s. The scrapbook consists of engravings and copies of photographs and paintings as well as handwritten biographies accompanying each illustration. Illustrations range in size and date and are mostly unattributed, as are the biographies. In addition, the scrapbook also contains three court documents, all from the Court of the King's Bench, Montreal, 1804. Subjects include the following: Sir William Blackstone (1723-1780; Baron Francis Mazares (1731-1824); Sir William Grant (1752-1832); Peter Livius (1739-1795); William Smith (1728-1793); William Osgoode (1754-1824); Isaac Ogden (1739-[1800?]; John Elmsley (1762-1805); Jonathan Sewell (1766-1839); James Reid ([17?-1848); Sir James Stuart (1780-1853); Charles R. Ogden (1791-1866); Thomas C. Haliberton (1796-1865); Denis Benjamin Viger (1774-1861); Louis-Joseph Papineau (1786-1871); Sir Robert Borden (1854-1937).

Scrapbook containing illustrations and brief biographies of prominent Canadian jurists. The subjects represented in the scrapbook served in British North America and Canada from the late-1700s to the late-1800s. The illustrations, which are primarily engravings and etchings, are unattributed and range in size and age. The biographical sketches that accompany the illustrations are both handwritten and typewritten. Subjects include the following: Francis (Baron) Maseres (1731-1824); Sir William Grant (1752-1832); Peter Livius (1739-1795); William Smith (1728-1793); Isaac Ogden (1739-[1800?]; John Elmsley (1762-1805); Jonathan Sewell (1766-1839); James Reid ([17--?-1848); Stephen Sewell (1770-1732); Sir James Stuart (1780-1853); Charles R. Ogden (1791-1866); Thomas C. Haliburton (1796-1865); Denis Benjamin Viger (1774-1861); Louis-Joseph Papineau (1786-1871).
